'“Michael Ciravolo and Michael Rozon asked me to be a part of this dark and heavy, dirge-y song that they created. The music took me to a place of being in a meteor shower of emotion. It brought out feelings of how we sometimes create unhappiness for ourselves with manipulation brought on by pain, causing such confusion. I could visualize dodging these sharp and pointy damaging stars of thoughts whizzing by in my head. The music travels a celestial path to a calm after a storm. I love that music can do that..” ….Betsy Martin
lyrics
There’s a place where I can crawl inside
It’s cozy there, it’s clandestine
Before I go, I must show you inside
Hold out your hand and take all that you can
Deservedly you want for more
But because I know more
I’ll take you anyway… oh
Stay close by we’re out to touch the stars
They’re pointed, sharp and cut for sure
They’ll test us as they fall around us here
As only you know how to do
As only you know how to do
Pull the strings manipulate this
As you know how to do
Hold out your hand
And reach for more inside
They’re sparkling the way we’ve not
We’ve never seen them look this way before
Here’s a place where only we can be
We cannot be alone, we only grasp at stars
Be mindful, they’re all around you now
They’re fast and pointed look the danger
All around you now
As only you know how to do
As only you know how to do
They’re sharper now they’re harder than we thought
As only you know how to do
Cool down
It’s not that bad, it’s not that hard, we all know what it’s like, when you see it in another light

The sound of Iceland at night. Cold and gloomy but with a danceable pulse. Need to make a full visit someday. Fun fact: IcelandAir had their albums on the flight music selection. heavenorli

I needed some Goth, and here it was. It was made in 2014, but could just as easily come to us from 1984. A noble and windswept musical ambassador from a dark and cloudy land. zzzptm

Fun, bright post-punk that emulates the bands I grew up with so well that I honestly had to check and make sure the album wasn't a re-release from 1984. So glad this came up in my recommended feed. modestwriggles

I have been able to see KANGA live twice, and very possibly a 3rd. The Under Glass release is particularly strong. I ordered the vinyl , currently listening as I write this. Very smoothly intertwined vocals and synth music. Her vocals are refreshing and presented with an ease that I am fond of. Good recording.
